Although rare, there may be situations on some frame designs when a 10-26 or 10-28 cassette is installed and a properly adjusted Road AXS rear derailleur will interfere with the chainstay or dropout when the chain-gap adjustment is set according to the instructions.
In this situation, you will see the rear derailleur or chain interfere with the chainstay or dropout when shifted to the outermost, or smallest cogs. Should such a condition occur, the chain-gap adjustment may be increased until the interference is eliminated. Do not add more than 4 mm to the specified chain-gap measurement for a given cassette size as found in the manual.
Notice: This condition does not manifest on properly adjusted rear derailleurs when used with 10-33 cassettes and no additional adjustments to the chain-gap should be made.
