We’ve redesigned all Ochain models to meet SRAM’s quality requirements. We have improved impact resistance and enhanced system sealing for better contamination resistance and longevity for the demands of MTB use. These improvements have been validated through SRAM’s demanding global test capabilities. We have also unified some of the internal parts on all models, resulting in easier service for riders and shops. Additionally, the updated SRAM Ochain models have a new upgrade path to allow you to easily move from the base models to the premium models, unlocking additional features. To differentiate between legacy and updated Ochains, please check the model code on the back of the Ochain, updated models are marked “B1”.
