SRAM Ochain N features an internally adjustable Travel Chip system. It comes from the factory set to 9º, but the internal adjustment allows you to change to 6º, 9º, or 12º of travel using common tools in your shop or at your local SRAM dealer. Ochain N is upgradeable to Ochain R by using the Ochain External Travel Adjust Upgrade Kit. This provides additional options, allowing you to choose between Lock, 3º, 6º, 9º, or 12º of travel adjustment on the fly.
SRAM Ochain S is the E-MTB counterpart to Ochain R. Ochain S features External Travel Adjust with selectable degrees of travel: Lock, 3º, 6º, 9º, or 12º. As with Ochain R, this easy and tool free customizability allows riders to quickly adjust their Ochain to match the terrain and their riding style. Ochain S is available for the Bosch BDU38 (CX Gen 5) motor interface.
SRAM Ochain E is the E-MTB counterpart to Ochain N. Ochain E features an internally adjustable Travel Chip system. Ochain E comes from the factory set to 9º of travel, but the internal adjustment allows you to change to 12º using a Travel Chip (part number 11.6118.083.009) and common tools in your home shop or at your local SRAM dealer. Please note, the 6º Travel Chip is not compatible with Ochain E.
