Our updated SRAM Maven B1 models have a few small but impactful changes from the already impressive Maven A1 series. There are 3 primary updates that were made:
• Maven B1 levers have updated lever blades and a re-tuned SwingLink delivering smoother power and enhancing modulation while reducing hand fatigue.
• Maven B1 calipers have 4x 18mm pistons (instead of 2x 18mm and 2x 19.5mm found on Maven A1). We reduced the hydraulic ratio slightly because the re-tuned SwingLink increases your mechanical ratio slightly. These cancel each other out and the power between A1 and B1 remains the same.
• Finishes have been updated on Maven ULT, SLV and BRZ (OE only). Maven ULT also now features a carbon lever blade.
