The AXS component LED indicators illuminate when the component’s AXS button is pressed and when a shift is performed. The color of the LED indicates the battery charge level. See the image below for more details. The battery must be recharged or replaced if an AXS component has a blinking red LED during use. The LED on the Transmission will blink red and green when a shift has been rejected. Shifts can be rejected when the temperature is below -15 °C (5 °F). You can also check your battery levels in the SRAM AXS app or on your paired Hammerhead, Garmin, or Wahoo bike computer.
